OpelZafira B — A car for a large company or family. The standard version has seven seats, and is also equipped with a proprietary Flex7 interior transformation system, which provides quick and easy interior transformation. With the third row folded down and the middle seats moved forward, the 140-litre boot volume can be increased to 1,820 litres. The "base" includes front and side airbags of anti-lock brakes and road stability. Curtain airbags and adaptive headlights are available at an additional cost.

The capabilities of standard multimedia can be expanded with a navigation system with a color display, optional AUX, USB, and Bluetooth interfaces.

The range of power plants includes gasoline and diesel engines:

• upgraded 1.6-liter gasoline engine (115 hp, 155 Nm) + five-speed "mechanics";

• 1.8 liter petrol engine (140 hp, 175 Nm) + manual or five-speed "robot";

• two modifications of a 1.7-liter turbocharged diesel unit (110 hp, 260 Nm and 125 hp, 280 Nm) + six-speed manual gearbox.

The debut of the second generation took place in 2005. In 2008 the model was updated. Restyling primarily touched the front bumper and optics. In addition, the range of engines has been refreshed, in which a new 1.7-liter diesel engine and an upgraded 1.6-liter gasoline unit have appeared, the power of which has been increased to 115 hp.

In 2011, a new generation of Zafira appeared - Zafira Tourer. Despite this, the company decided not to stop production of the 2005 model, which in Germany was renamed the Zafira Family.

Opel Zafira is produced in Germany and Poland.
