Opel Astra H sedan - The world premiere of the sedan took place in November 2006 at the Istanbul Motor Show. The model is primarily intended for sales in Eastern Europe, as well as in countries where four-door cars are in high demand. At the same time, equipment and machinery is no different from hatchbacks that were intended for the European market.
Despite the fact that in 2009 the company introduced the fourth generation of Astra, sedans based on the third generation are still produced in Poland and carry the additional name Classic.
The golf-class sedan turned out to be more spacious than the hatchback. The wheelbase, which the four-door got from the station wagon, noticeably added legroom for rear passengers, and its length is even slightly longer than that of the D-class sedan. Toyota Avensis - 2703 versus 2700 mm.
In Ukraine, three bundles of power units are available for the Opel Astra Classic sedan:
1.6-liter gasoline engine (115 hp, 155 Nm) + “mechanics” for five gears;
1.6-liter gasoline engine (115 hp, 155 Nm) + six-speed Easytronic robotic box;
1.7-liter turbodiesel (110 hp, 260 Nm) + six-speed manual.
The model is available only in front-wheel drive and the only basic configuration. However, the list of equipment can be supplemented with individual options or package offers.
The standard equipment of the model includes ABS, front and side airbags, air conditioning, heated mirrors, CD / MP3 audio system, leather steering wheel with music control buttons, front electric windows, central locking with remote control, fog lights.
