Opel Corsa F - the sixth generation of the model. The new B-class hatchback was first shown in May 2019, and the electric car was the first to be declassified, and only a month later the Germans showed and talked about modifications with internal combustion engines, which will be discussed on this page.
Opel Corsa competitors: Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia.
The “sixth” Corsa was created after Opel moved from the General Motors concern to the PSA Group, as a result of which the hatchback is largely unified with the second generation Peugeot 208 (it debuted in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show). Both models are built on the CMP platform (Common Modular Platform), differ minimally in size and are equipped with the same engines. Another common feature is that when changing generations, both the 208th and Corsa said goodbye to the three-door versions and remained exclusively in five-door configurations.
Opel Corsa F as standard
Compared with previous generation The Corsa hasn't changed much in size. The length increased by 39 mm (up to 4060 mm), and the height decreased by 48 mm (up to 1433 mm). The driver now sits 28mm closer to the road and the wheelbase has grown by 28mm from 2510mm to 2538mm. At the same time, the hatchback has become 108 kg (or about 10%) lighter: the curb weight of the basic version with a 1.2 naturally aspirated engine is only 980 kg. The body with an aluminum hood “lost” 40 kg, the engine dropped another 15 kg (due to the fact that the four-cylinder unit was the initial one), and the seat frames are lighter than the previous ones by a total of 10 kg.
The trunk volume of the Opel Corsa F with internal combustion engines is 309 liters, and with the backrests of the second row folded down - 1081 liters.
Depending on the configuration, the Opel Corsa F can be with a traditional dashboard or with a virtual combination. The list of options includes a media system with a widescreen ten-inch screen (instead of the standard 7-inch), leather interior, heated steering wheel, rear view camera, front seats with massage, car parking, adaptive cruise control and IntelliLux matrix LED headlights.

In Germany, the Opel Corsa is available in four trim levels: Corsa, Corsa Edition, Corsa Elegance and the sported Corsa GS Line, shown in the main gallery at the top of the page. The GS Line is distinguished by the design of the bumpers, the twin exhaust pipes, the large spoiler, the truncated steering wheel rim and the metal pedals. In addition, in the version with the "automatic" there is a Sport driving mode, which is not available in other trim levels.
The Opel Corsa F is produced at the Opel España de Automóviles, S.A. in the city of Zaragoza (Spain).
