Description Opel Combo

Opel Combo Life - passenger "heel". The fifth generation of the model, designated by the letter "E", was presented in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. The presentation in Ukraine is scheduled for April 2020.

Unlike previous generations, this Opel Combo is built on the EMP2 platform of the French PSA Group, thanks to which it has twin brothers Peugeot Rifter and Citroen Berlingo.

The novelty is available in two body lengths - standard L1 (4.4 m) or increased L2 (4.75 m). At the same time, regardless of the modification from the outside, Combo Life is easily recognizable thanks to the characteristic features of the Opel brand: slanted headlights with LED elements and a large radiator grill with “wings” that continue the branded lightning logo. The car pleases with a spacious interior, a high roof and a roomy trunk. In the standard body version and with a 5-seater saloon, the Opel Combo Life minivan offers a luggage compartment with a volume of 983 liters (loading from the ceiling). And also in general, up to 28 drawers, shelves and niches can be equipped throughout the cabin, which will be useful for placing small things of the driver and passengers of the car.

The front seats are ergonomically designed, the three separate rear seats are equipped with ISOFIX mounts and allow you to install three child seats in one row at once. Thanks to the large sliding side doors, landing on the second row of seats is as easy as possible. In addition, the Opel Combo Life minivan can offer not only a standard 5-seater, but also a 7-seater: two additional seats are installed in the rear of the body, they can be easily folded and removed when bulky items need to be transported.

For the Ukrainian market, Opel offered a choice of two turbodiesel engines. The engine range is opened by the HDi 92 version with a 1.6-liter turbodiesel that develops 92 hp. and a torque of 230 Nm. This engine works with a 5-speed "mechanics". The second option is the BlueHDi 130 version with a 1.5-liter turbodiesel with 130 hp. and 300 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed "automatic" of the Japanese company AISIN.

The car is offered in two trim levels: Enjoy (medium level of equipment) or Innovation (maximum level of equipment).

The Enjoy package initially offers: ESC system, cruise control, six airbags (including curtains), power windows for all windows (including windows in the sliding side doors), air conditioning, heated front seats, driver's seat with armrest and adjustable lumbar support, 8-inch touch screen, multifunctional steering wheel with buttons, 16-inch wheels.

The car in the version with the BlueHDi 130 turbodiesel differs not only in the engine, but also in the presence of an 8-speed automatic transmission and advanced equipment: on board the Stop & Start system, a 3.5-inch color display in the instrument cluster, a traffic sign reading function, fog lights

The maximum Innovation package is only available with the BlueHDi 130 hp powertrain. and "automatic", and additionally offers: 2-zone climate control, a rear-view camera with a 180 ° viewing angle, a leather steering wheel, a keyless entry system, three separate seats in the second row, 16-inch alloy wheels and much more.

The Opel Combo Life is produced at the PSA Group plant in Portugal.
