Other options are available for an extra charge. The five-door has a good 375-liter trunk, which, with the rear sofa folded down, increases to 1,295 liters. With the "bad roads" package, the ground clearance of the Opel Astra is increased to 165 mm.

As a power plant, you can choose either a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with distributed injection, or one of the modifications of a 1.7-liter turbodiesel (110 and 125 hp). For a gasoline engine, a five-speed "mechanics" and "robot" are offered, for a "heavy" fuel unit - a manual gearbox with six gears.
