Opel ADAM ROCKS - the premiere of the model took place in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. The chips of the ROCKS version (from the English “stones”) are not only a crossover body kit made of unpainted plastic and a 15 mm increased ground clearance, but also an automated soft fabric roof. It is three-layer and can be folded in just five seconds.
In addition, ADAM ROCKS became the first production car of the brand to receive a new 1-liter three-cylinder petrol turbo engine, available in two versions - 90 and 115 hp. Peak torque is the same for both versions and is 166 Nm, available from 1,800 rpm. In tandem with this engine, the Germans also added a fresh six-speed manual gearbox.
In addition, the range of gasoline power plants includes three aspirated 1.2 (70 hp and 115 Nm) and 1.4 liters. The latter is available in two specifications - 87 and 100 hp, while they have the same torque and is 130 Nm.
Exactly the same as normal ADAM, the crossover version of ROCKS will be available in three versions: Jam, Glam and Slam. For a surcharge, buyers will be able to order multimedia with a 7-inch color display. She is friendly with both Android and iOS devices.
Serial production is established in Germany.
